 Program

Tens of thousands of CBI students are on a spiritual journey to develop a relationship with Jesus Christ. Our unique distance education program* is designed to follow them wherever they are, (including after release), giving them long-term, in-depth discipleship throughout their journey. Thousands of church members are eager to witness to people hungry for the Word of God as volunteers for CBI.

HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS
1. A person in prison hears about CBI from a ministry affiliated with CBI, a CBI student or a chaplain.
2. He/she receives an Enrollment Form from the affiliated ministry or requests an Enrollment Form from CBI or his/her chaplain.
3. He/she completes and returns the Enrollment Form to CBI.
4. CBI mails Bible study lessons to the student, one at a time.
5. The student completes and returns the lessons to CBI for correction.
6. Trained volunteer Instructors correct and return the lessons to the student, along with personal letters of discipleship.
7. The student is awarded a certificate when a course is successfully completed.
